THAMES TRADITIONAL BOAT RALLY

This is a rally which should not be missed by anyone who has an interest in the traditions of bygone years, or who is a lover of boats and boating of any sort.

The intention is to encourage owners of traditional craft to cherish and restore them and continue to use them on the Thames. Each year the rally has gone from strength to strength until in 2005 there were over 200 craft ranging from slipper stern launches, gentlemen's launches, steam launches, sailing craft and vintage speed boats on display.

Stretching along the whole length of the rally is a spectacular range of boat builders stands, craft stands, trade stands, chandlery, antique chandlery and books. Work displays showing traditional bpat building skills in action plus educational displays. Boat jumble, Vintage Cars and Vintage Bicycles.
